What our GST registration service covers
Tax & Tenders assists businesses in Bhopal and across India with preparing and following up a GST registration application. We start by understanding your business and the reason for registration, so the application reflects the correct entity, activity and place of business.
- Review of your business constitution, state, supplies and registration requirement.
- A case-specific information and document checklist, with checks for mismatched names, addresses and authorisation details.
- Preparation of the application and guidance on the applicant's required verification and submission steps.
- Application status tracking and assistance with registration-related clarification requests within the agreed scope.
- Handover of available application records and, if approved, the registration certificate, with an explanation of immediate next steps.
Before work begins, we confirm the scope and professional fee for your circumstances. Existing return defaults, cancellation or revocation, appeals and ongoing return filing are separate matters unless expressly included in the engagement.
Who may require GST registration?
Registration depends on your facts and the current rules, rather than one turnover figure that applies to every business. We review:
- Whether your aggregate turnover crosses the threshold applicable to your state and the nature of your supplies.
- Whether a compulsory-registration provision applies, taking account of available exemptions and notifications.
- Inter-state, e-commerce, export or other supply arrangements that may need a closer eligibility review.
- Whether voluntary registration is appropriate, including the compliance obligations it creates.
Tell us what you sell, where you operate and your turnover position before assuming that GST registration is required or unnecessary. A request from a customer or marketplace is useful context, but the legal position still needs to be checked.
Documents and information typically needed
The checklist varies with the entity, premises and application category. The following is a starting point; we confirm which records apply to your case.
- Business identity: legal name, trade name, PAN and constitution. Partnership deeds, incorporation certificates or other entity records may be relevant.
- People and authority: details and photographs of relevant proprietors, partners or directors, and the authorised signatory's details and authorisation where required.
- Business premises: address and applicable ownership, tenancy or consent evidence. A rent agreement, consent/NOC and supporting premises proof may be relevant depending on possession.
- Business activity: principal goods or services, business commencement details, relevant supply locations, turnover information and any existing registrations.
- Applicant-controlled contacts: a working mobile number and email for the relevant applicant/signatory, and readiness to complete the required authentication.
- Bank information: requested when relevant to your category or subsequent compliance. For normal registration, bank details can be furnished after grant through the applicable portal process; they are not a universal prerequisite for starting the application.
Start an enquiry with a brief business summary. Keep passwords and OTPs under your control. We explain the records and authorised verification steps needed for the agreed work.
How our assistance process works
- Initial review and scope. Share your entity type, state, activity, turnover position and reason for registration. We identify the matters to check and confirm the engagement scope and fee.
- Checklist and document review. We request applicable records, compare names and addresses, and identify missing information before preparing the application.
- Preparation and applicant verification. We organise the application details and guide the authorised signatory through the required verification and submission. You confirm that the information is accurate.
- Tracking and follow-up. We retain the available application references, check status and review any registration-related clarification request covered by the engagement.
- Outcome and next steps. We explain the outcome and provide available records. If registration is granted, we identify immediate compliance matters for your business; ongoing filing requires an agreed scope.
Application tracking and clarification handling
An application reference and submission acknowledgement are not the same as approval. Once the relevant reference is generated, status can be checked through the GST Portal. Keep the reference, submission records and applicant email/mobile accessible.
If the department asks for clarification, we review the actual notice, its deadline and the points raised. Assistance may involve explaining an address or document mismatch, organising the relevant evidence and preparing the response for the applicant's review and required verification.
Share departmental communications promptly. A response depends on receiving accurate information and supporting records in time. Rejection, a new application, an appeal or a dispute involving existing registrations may require a separate assessment and engagement.
Realistic timelines and important limitations
There are two separate stages: preparing a complete application and the department's processing of it. We discuss an indicative preparation/submission schedule after reviewing your records. Missing documents or inconsistent details can delay preparation.
Departmental processing follows the applicable rules and the application's circumstances. Aadhaar authentication, risk-based checks, clarification requests, biometric/document verification at a designated centre, physical verification or portal difficulties can affect the time needed. Some applicant steps may require attendance even where our assistance is provided remotely.
Approval rests with the GST authorities. We cannot promise approval, a particular GSTIN or a fixed approval date. Our role is to assist with an accurate application and the agreed follow-up; applicants remain responsible for truthful information and their required verification.
We do not create supporting records or substitute for missing evidence. Registration also brings continuing obligations. The appropriate treatment, filing requirements and next steps should be confirmed for your business.
Discuss your GST registration requirement
For an initial review, tell us your business constitution, state, main activity, turnover position and whether you already have an application reference or clarification notice. We can then confirm the information needed and the proposed scope.
